To support critical national security initiatives, the contract National Security Policy Specialist will work remotely, committing 25-35 hours per week through December 2026, focusing on coalition strengthening, policy analysis, and project management related to the U.S. military and intelligence agencies.Key responsibilitiesSupport the National Security team in coalition building and policy developmentMonitor and analyze policy and legal trends, conducting research for internal useDraft communications and research products while providing project management support to advocacy and legal initiativesRequired qualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in policy, organizing, or research related to U.S. national securitySolid understanding of the politicization and improper use of U.S. military and national security agenciesAbility to build trusting relationships with internal and external partnersHigh degree of autonomy in managing projects from conception to executionCommitment to a cross-ideological and nonpartisan approach to democracy protection
