The Superintendent will oversee construction projects, managing on-site activities and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards in Chicago's varied business services industry. Client Details A leading national general contractor known for delivering complex, high-quality projects across multiple market sectors. Description Manage all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout. Lead subcontractors and coordinate daily field operations. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion. Enforce safety standards and company policies. Coordinate inspections and quality control processes. Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, and design teams. Identify and resolve field issues proactively. Maintain project documentation including daily reports and progress updates. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Profile Experience managing projects in one or more of the following sectors: Office Entertainment Gaming Healthcare Higher Education Hospitality Industrial K-12 Education Manufacturing Mission Critical / Data Centers Renewables Residential Retail Science & Technology Senior Living Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
