Overview
The Administrative Support III supports primarily to the Safety and Security Program Coordinator in areas of training, certification compliance and tracking and field visits. This position will support Department leadership in making operational and budgeting decisions regarding operational methods and programs to improve the overall safety performance of CCW.
Responsibilities
• Compiles information on accident/incident and injury trends within CCW by working with managers to ensure procedures are followed and documentation is submitted timely
• Reviews documentation and provides feedback to managers when information is incomplete and/or not submitted timely
• Prepares reports for meetings and presentations
• Conducts research of financial loss/lost work hours by using spreadsheets nd databases and prepares for use in meetings, presentations, etc. by the Safety and Security Program Coordinator.
• Facilitates changes to create department safety and security procedures to reduce the financial impact directly related to accidents, incidents, and injuries
• Assists the Safety and Security Program Coordinator by coordinating and scheduling training for CCW staff ensuring to cover all locations within the City and CCW locations outside of the City limit
• Participates in ride along and field observations to review the use and accuracy of department Standard Operating Procedures and other programs
• Documents observations and prepares reports on findings of adherence to procedures
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
• Non -Exempt - Full-Time
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement
• In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate's Degree (AA/AS); Or 2 year technical certificate
• Two (2) years of experience
Certifications, Licenses or other requirements

• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire
