Jr. Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Junior Security Operations AnalystWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Security Operations Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will monitor our security tools and systems, investigate alerts, elevate issues, and document security incidents.Responsibilities:Monitor security tools including Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Fortinet Endpoint Security, SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike to detect threats, anomalies, and incidentsInvestigate alerts through data analysis, root cause identification, and evidence gatheringEscalate complex incidents to senior analysts and managementCreate and maintain documentation related to security events, alerts, and mitigationApply automation techniques and scripting to streamline security monitoring and response using Python, Bash, PowerShell and moreAssist with cloud security oversight across AWS and Microsoft Azure environmentsPerform maintenance and troubleshooting on security tools and systemsAcquire and maintain basic certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or SSCPRequirements:1-2 years experience in a SOC analyst, cybersecurity operations, or related IT security roleProficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Fortinet Endpoint Security, SentinelOne, CrowdStrikeExperience with SIEMs, firewalls, EDR, cloud security toolsKnowledge of threat intelligence, adversary techniques, and attack methodsLog analysis and data correlation skillsCritical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced security operations environmentCoding/scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other languagesStrong communication skills and teamwork orientedCertifications:Microsoft Azure Security AZ500 or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst SC200Any related cloud security certifications from AWS or MicrosoftPalo Alto Networks OR Fortinet Security CertificationsThis is an exciting opportunity to gain broad experience protecting our cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
