You will be responsible for developing system level artifacts and engaging with customers, mission partners, and other stakeholders to satisfy and fulfill customer directed objectives.ResponsibilitiesPerform in an accelerated, collaborative, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors.Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives.Develop the verification details for the requirements to ensure that the system is able to meet the requirements and support the execution of these verification activities.Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews.Development of systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, Interface Control Documents.Basic QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.Demonstrates an Agile Mindset willing to adapt in a fast paced dynamic environment.Experience working with Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban.Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment.Experience developing Operations Procedures and training materials.Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI.Desired SkillsDomain Experience and Understanding of one of the following: Command and Control (C2), Mission Management, Planning and Scheduling, Orbital Mechanics, SSA (Space Situational Awareness).Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with SysML and Cameo.Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning.Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied.Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.Security Clearance StatementThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI.Work DetailsAbility to work remotely: Onsite full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed.
