INTRODUCTIONThe employee is directly responsible to the Justice Services Director or designee for carrying out the assigned functions of the program. The employee will work with program staff, judicial officers, program clients and other community partners to address the needs of the program and client assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS:The employee works mainly indoors, in either the field, office or courtroom environment.The employee will work out of an assigned workstation within a Judicial District, but may include several adjoining county sites. The employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, tobacco smoke and foul odors during the workday. May require occasional moving up to +/-30 pounds, bending, stooping, or climbing. Requires travel to counties within the thirteen county service area for meetings and other job-related activities. Will require some travel for training outside the thirteen county area and occasional overnight travel.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OFSupervise and monitor the activities of program clients for insuring adherence to Community Corrections Standards.Submit timely client status documentation for use in electronic databases used by the program. Ie (Tomis, ADE, etc.)Coordinate and communicate with judicial officials concerning assigned participants complianceComplete and file required documents in client file within the established deadline for eachEnsure client record documentation is in compliance for programmatic auditsResearch and prepare post sentence reports or updates when needed.Prepare warrants for violations of court ordered supervisionTestify as called upon by the court as related to assign client cases.Assist the program clients in receiving needed services and make referrals to appropriate resourcesFacilitating MRT classes for clientsTransport clients to various treatment facilities, upon needCoordinate services for participants assigned to Recovery Court, including serving on treatment teamConduct outreach efforts to increase awareness of the program's merits as an alternative to incarceration.Conduct client home visits within the established timeframe to ensure clients are adhering to court orderParticipate and attend all required Agency and Grant trainingAdheres to professional ethics and standards, demonstrating work habits, which comply with Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree with emphasis on criminal justice, psychology, or social worker (Required)Three years of related experience (Preferred)A valid Driver's License and Automobile Liability InsuranceSatisfactory background checkREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Strong organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills.Ability to deliver presentations and provide training in group settings.Ability to accurately record and organize detailed, confidential, and complex information.Capable of interpreting regulations and operational policies and procedures to ensure program compliance.Ability to prepare and maintain program files and related documentation in an organized and accessible manner.Knowledge of computer database applications including Microsoft Office products, and database management.Ability to travel.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; stoop; bend; walk; talk; hear; use hands to grip; reach with hands and arms, required to stand or walk on uneven surfaces; climb stairs and lift up to 30lbs daily.#J-18808-Ljbffr
