As a Corrections Activities Specialist, you will perform the following duties:Program Leadership: Plan and conduct structured activities, sports, and wellness programs for inmate groupsInstruction and Coaching: Teach skills, explain expectations, and guide inmates through individual and group activitiesProgram Evaluation: Review activity participation, assess program effectiveness, and maintain required reports and recordsFacility Oversight: Direct inmates in setting up, maintaining, and organizing recreation areas and equipmentResource Management: Monitor inventory, store equipment properly, and request supplies as neededWork Schedule and Additional InformationFull‑time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours are 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Tuesday‑Saturday, with a 30‑minute lunchThis position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this positionSalary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiableYou will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
