Code Enforcement Specialist
A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
This is a part time role, working up to 24 hours a week.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
- Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 1+ years of inspection, administrative, clerical, and customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) with conflict resolution techniques.
- Self-motivated, proactive, takes initiative, able to follow direction well.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills
- Attention to detail with strong follow-up and follow through skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
