Responsibilities Provide technical support in the selection and approval of suppliers and service providers by performing supplier evaluations. Conduct supplier certification activities.Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Perform quality system and manufacturing process audits to applicable standards, regulations and company procedures / policies. Prepare audit reports that establish the outcome of the audit and detail the non-conformances identified during the audit. Track audit results, including corrective actions, and provide follow-up to these actions, as required.Conduct supplier certification activities to upgrade eligible approved suppliers to certified supplier status.Support third party and regulatory agency inspections as needed.Communicate effectively and efficiently by both written and oral modes. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external customers.Support opportunities for improvements and contribute to solutions. Demonstrate fact based decision making skills.(Influence/Leadership) Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel. May lead a project team. Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects. Influences middle management on technical or business solutions. Interact with vendors;(Planning/Organization) Plans and organizes non-routine tasks w/approval. Initiates or maintains work schedule.
