Under the direction of the Crime Analyst Supervisor and the lead Crime Analyst III, the Crime Analyst (CA) I performs simple to complex functions associated with the operations of the Missing and Unidentified Persons Section (MUPS). Specifically, the CA I performs complex ad hoc queries of the Missing Persons System and Unidentified Persons System, analyzes those results, prepares reports or charts, and disseminates results to local Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) aiding in missing and unidentified persons investigations and identification.
