Job Overview Job OverviewA law firm seeks an experienced Trial Counsel to join its personal injury team in Knoxville, TN. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients throughout Tennessee and requires an active Tennessee Bar license in good standing.Duties Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.Conduct and defend depositions.Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.Requirements Active membership in the Tennessee Bar, in good standing.Minimum 3 years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications Active Tennessee Bar license.Skills Proven litigation experience.Commitment to client service.Ability to lead matters from filing through trial.Benefits Competitive base salary with bonus potential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
