We will teach you the rest!A Day in The Life as a Special Response Team SpecialistAs a Special Response Specialist, you will collaborate with case teams, Department for Children and Families (DCF), law enforcement, and other stakeholders in an effort to locate absent youth who are absent from placement. You will be reviewing case files, conducting social media searches and contacting family members and friends of the youth. You will engage with community partners and attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss strategies for locating and supporting these vulnerable youth. You'll complete Human Trafficking assessments when necessary, ensuring that all efforts are trauma‑informed and culturally sensitive.
