Salary grade: $18.00-$20.00. FLSA classification: nonexempt. Reporting relationship: Operations Manager.Job SummarySilhouette Security Group's primary objective is prevention. Officers provide professional security personnel, BSIS certified, courteous, with professional appearance and presence. They demonstrate customer service and de‑escalation skills. As a security agent, you hold a high‑visibility presence to detect, deter, observe, and report while providing excellent customer service. Flexible schedule and availability for event, temporary, and shift assignments are required.Essential FunctionsProtect company property and personnel by maintaining a secure and safe environment.Preserve order to implement policies and directives for personnel, site visitors, and premises.Observe alarm systems or video cameras and operate detection/emergency equipment.Patrol building and perimeter randomly and frequently.Monitor and manage access at building entrances and vehicle gates.Record accurate notes of unusual occurrences or suspicious incidents.Protect evidence or scene during accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.Observe and report only site duties.Knowledge and SkillsWorks ethically and with integrity to uphold organizational values.Knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.React well under pressure and treat others with respect and consideration.Identify and resolve issues promptly; develop alternative solutions with reason.Outline issues, gather information, establish data, and draw valid conclusions.Question issues in all useful areas and make sound business decisions based on facts.Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to address all levels of personnel.Knowledge of EEO policy; promotes a harassment‑free environment by showing respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.Physical DemandsPhysical needs include work in cold weather, rain, snow, or heat; occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 pounds; occasional climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders; frequent standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods.In compliance with federal, state, and local laws, all people employed will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.Requirements and QualificationsValid BSIS‑issued Guard Card.Minimum High School Diploma or GED.California ID/Driver's License.Reliable transportation.Prior military, security, or customer service experience preferred.Must be at least 18 years of age.Completion of employment eligibility verification and background investigation forms are required upon hire.#J-18808-Ljbffr
