This position involves utilizing various tools and strategies to minimize loss, including:* Identifying and addressing incidents of theft and fraud* Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports* Monitoring physical security measures within the store* Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems* Fostering a culture of shrink eliminationAdditionally, the Specialist will be responsible for:* Preparing detailed and accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries* Preserving evidence for legal proceedings* Interacting with law enforcement and providing testimony in criminal and civil court actionsThe Loss Prevention Specialist must also:* Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty* Carry out responsibilities with a focus on minimizing risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the company* Exhibit integrity at all times while responding to operational concerns from all associates* Stay aligned with store-specific business objectives while supporting crucial asset protection activitiesThis is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall success of the store and the organization.
