Field Service DispatcherWe seek a reliable Dispatcher to serve as the communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and remain calm and composed, especially in emergencies. You'll need to multitask and take appropriate action with minimal supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needsRelaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors, or emergency personnelUsing telephones, two-way radios, or text messages to contact employees or emergency personnelSpeaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipmentPreparing daily work such as schedulesPreparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crewsBeing in charge of communications within company-assigned territoriesKeeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records, and other informationDispatcher skills and qualificationsExcellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any conditionExcellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnelKnowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching dutiesAbility to multitask with different and sometimes conflicting events happening at the same timeAbility to work under stress and remain calm, and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstancesAbility to relay information in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
