In-house engineering helps provide us with tighter control over project quality, budgets, and schedules.Job Title: Service Dispatcher - This is an on-site position.Monday -Friday 8 am to 5 pmThe HVAC Dispatcher will work directly with the Dispatch Team, the Service Administration Manager, the Service Managers, and other department leaders to ensure the alignment of scheduling, dispatching processes, and operational goals of Dallas Mechanical Group. This role is crucial in organizing the day-to-day scheduling operations and accurately following dispatch processes, to ensure the overall success of the Service Department's responsibilities. The Service Dispatcher will be involved in all scheduling related activities, including coordinating technician assignments, managing timelines, communicating with customers and field personnel, and working with Service Managers to ensure timely completion of dispatching tasks.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with Dispatch team, Service Administration Manager and Service Managers to ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching of HVAC TechniciansAssist in running reports and keeping various information up to dateResponsible for the day-to-day dispatching and coordination of startup work and service callsEnsure all dispatch processes and workflows are up to date and compliant with company standardsAnswer phone line and set up call requestsRegularly review dispatch processes and workflows to identify areas of improvementWork with Service Administration Manager to enhance efficiency and effectiveness regarding startup dispatch processes and workflows.Participate in department meetings as requestedPerform additional assignments as requested and maintain a teamwork attitudeQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Proven experience in dispatching, preferably in HVAC or service-oriented industry.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities.Excellent customer service skills and abilities.Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledNotice to Prospective EmployeesThere have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
