This position interviews callers to obtain information, and offers assistance on directions, procedures, and schedules; relays information to appropriate departmental personnel, such as building maintenance staff, parking control officers, transit bus drivers, and paratransit van drivers; records or enters information into logs and/or computer databases; compiles information from logs or databases into reports; receives deliveries from vendors and delivery services; and monitors visitor and employee entrance and exit of the property. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications Minimum QualificationsThe formal education equivalent of a high school diploma;Two years of experience in operating communication equipment or related areaEquivalencies will be accepted for experience.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of communication procedures and federal rules and regulations concerning radio and telephone transmissions.Ability to operate communications equipment.Ability to maintain logs and records.
