Shift: Week 1: Sun/Mon/Fri/Sat 10p - 6a. Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed 10p-6a.

The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for all UnityPoint Health properties. This role monitors hospital buildings and premises to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized intruders, and protects patients, team members, and visitors. The Security Officer provides input in developing security procedures, which address the day-to-day physical security needs of the Unity Point Health System.

There is an established career ladder for this role with the potential for you to jump up to a Security Officer II after a year of experience with a bump in pay! If you have a year or more of prior security experience when applying, we will hire you on at a Level II!

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• A valid WI drivers license in good standing to obtain and maintain employer driving approval. (No more than 3 driving violations in the last 3 years)

• Understanding of State of Wisconsin Statues pertaining to criminal law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military or law enforcement experience.
