Job Details
Shift Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 10:00PM to 6:00AM Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Manage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Advanced computer skills to utilize innovative, access control technology at client-specific sites
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property.
This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:
- Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1-2 miles per shift)
- Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- CA Security Guard Card
- Minimum 1 year security leadership experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Clean driving record and valid driver license
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
