Are you a highly organized dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment? A growing waste and recycling company in Alabama is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations, optimize routes, and keep drivers moving safely and efficiently. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and logistics, we'd love to hear from you!

Competitive salary: $50,000-$70,000+ annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate daily routes for waste and recycling drivers.
• Monitor route progress and respond quickly to scheduling changes.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and operations staff throughout the day.
• Optimize routes for efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Track driver hours, service completion, and operational documentation.
• Assist with resolving service issues and maintaining accurate dispatch records.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or waste industry experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
