United Protective Services is seeking a professional, customer-focused Garage Attendant / Security Officer for a luxury apartment community. This is a high-visibility position that plays an important role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed parking environment for residents and guests.
Schedule
Wednesday: 05:00PM - 01:00AM
Thursday: 05:00PM - 01:00AM
Friday: 05:00PM - 01:00AM
Saturday: 05:00PM - 01:00AM
Sunday: 05:00PM - 01:00AM
Position Overview
The Garage Attendant serves as the first point of contact for many residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering the property. The ideal candidate is polite, courteous, observant, and motivated, with a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.
This position primarily focuses on garage access control, visitor logging, and monitoring activity within the parking structure. Limited foot patrols of designated areas may also be required throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the parking garage
Verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate visitor logs
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel
Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times
Conduct periodic foot patrols of designated garage and common areas
Monitor for unauthorized vehicles, security concerns, and maintenance issues
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required
Communicate effectively with property management, residents, and emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications
Active Texas Security License (or ability to obtain one)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable transportation and attendance
Basic computer and report-writing skills
Ability to remain attentive and observant throughout the shift
Ideal Candidate

Strong observational skills
Professional under pressure
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Comfortable interacting with residents and visitors throughout the shift
