Security Officer - Distribution Center

Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.; Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.; Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.; Support visitor management processes by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining accurate access logs, and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.; Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related issues that may require follow-up.
