We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Surveillance Operator to join our security team. This critical role involves monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of our premises through proactive surveillance activities. The ideal candidate will be keenly observant, possess strong analytical skills, and have a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.
Essential Functions
- Monitor live video surveillance feeds from CCTV cameras to identify suspicious or unauthorized activities.- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to ensure security policies and procedures are followed.- Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches, alarms, or emergencies.- Document and report incidents accurately, maintaining detailed logs for future reference.- Observe Table Games, Slots Areas, Cage Operations, Count Rooms and Cash Handling to ensure compliance with PGCB Regulations and Internal Controls.
- Detect and report irregular activities including cheating, collusion, theft, policy violations and procedure errors
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other departments when necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Regularly test and maintain surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide support during investigations of security-related incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in security or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Surveillance Operator, Security Officer, or similar role.
- Proficient in operating surveillance systems, including CCTV and alarm systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Basic understanding of laws and regulations related to security and surveillance.
