Job Summary
As a Physical Security Enablement Specialist, you will support the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our critical infrastructure and physical security systems.
In this role, you will lead complex maintenance and installation activities, respond to on-site incidents, and serve as a technical mentor to team members. You'll collaborate across teams, ensure operational excellence, and help drive high standards in safety, performance, and service delivery
Responsibilities
Physical Security Systems Operations
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair physical security systems across the data center, including access control, CCTV, network video recorders (e.g., Complete View), biometric systems, and card access readers (e.g., Suprema, AMAG Symmetry
Perform routine installations, upgrades, and deployments of security devices, including customer space installations
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all security technologies through proactive maintenance and timely issue resolution
Facility Monitoring & Maintenance
Conduct site inspections to ensure optimal operation of access control and surveillance systems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize system downtime
Identify and resolve issues impacting security system performance
Incident & Problem Management
Respond to system alerts, failures, and operational incidents
Diagnose root causes and implement timely solutions
Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership of resolution
Work Orders & Service Delivery
Create, manage, and complete work orders aligned with operational priorities
Support customer deployments, including installation of security monitoring devices within customer spaces
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with third-party vendors for maintenance, repairs, or installations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Site Administration & Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and system updates
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and operational efficiency
Implement solutions to enhance site security technology performance
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred)
Typically, 1+ years of experience in physical security, facilities, critical infrastructure environments or related environments
Basic knowledge of access control, CCTV, and security systems
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
Basic understanding of networking and server environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using digital tools and work order systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 environment and on-call rotation.
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - DC16 Washington DC : 59,000 - 88,400 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
