Public Safety Officer - Security

Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security officer rounds. Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy and procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. Drives as needed for company business.QualificationsExperience in healthcare security or a related field preferred.State Guard Certification Registration Card.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Required Licenses and CertificationsState driver's license upon hire.Current DMV H6 report or driving history report.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that can be tailored to individual needs.
