Manage, plan, coordinate, and resource a wide range of welding and metallurgy projects.

Ensure the technical adequacy and design quality of all work performed by the team.

Mentor and provide training for the professional development of junior personnel.

Develop and prepare new technical guidance, design criteria, and standard drawings.

Act as a special technical advisor and represent the District in conferences and on special studies.

Coordinate and instruct technical workshops and training courses.

Manage staff performance, including reviews, appraisals, and corrective actions.

Handle personnel administration tasks such as approving leave and certifying time and attendance.
