Position Overview

ITSC is seeking Junior Operations Specialists to support Missile Warning and Test Operations as part of a 24/7 operations team. This role provides junior-level operational support ensuring continuous system availability through shift-based operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates foundational knowledge of system operations and maintenance and thrives in a mission-focused, team-oriented operational environment.
Impact

In this role, you will directly support around-the-clock missile warning operations, contributing to the continuous availability and reliability of systems critical to national defense. Your work supports real-time mission execution and provides essential operational continuity to senior operators and engineers.
Responsibilities

• Provide junior-level 24/7 operational support to Missile Warning and Test operations.

• Support continuous system operations through shift-based operational coverage.

• Demonstrate competence in system operation and basic maintenance activities.

• Follow established operational procedures, checklists, and guidance.

• Escalate issues appropriately to senior operations and engineering staff.

• Support mission readiness and system availability across all operational shifts.

Requirements

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Basic understanding of mission operations environments
• Familiarity with shift-based 24/7 operations concepts
• Ability to follow detailed operational procedures and instructions
• Foundational knowledge of system operations and maintenance
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based operational environment
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operations environment.

• Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
