Join GDIT as a Systems Technician in a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.ResponsibilitiesProvide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.Unix and Windows hardware support – troubleshoot and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems.Install and upgrade computers, printers, scanners, phones and other critical hardware.Conduct back-end device configuration, manage security settings and protocols.Coordinate deployment of deliverables and products.Provide troubleshooting and support.Participate in the administration of multiple critical network systems.Track project studies, plans, action items, etc.Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Maneuver through small spaces to pull or run fibers under the floor.Work independently to resolve complex issues with critical problems.Replace servers or server parts as needed.Travel occasionally to customer locations from time to time.Property Management: manage the full lifecycle of government and corporate assets with rigorous database management, inventory, and logistics.Participate in special projects as required.QualificationsAssociate's degree in Arts or Science.5+ years of related experience.Technical skills: understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, cabling standards, installation, systems administration, testing equipment, and ITIL best practices.DoD Information Assurance (IA) certification — CompTIA Security+ CE at minimum.Privileged user access will be granted; subject to additional monitoring and a zero‑tolerance policy for security violations.Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.U.S. citizenship required.On‑site role.BenefitsGrowth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities.Support: internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals.Rewards: comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401(k) with company match, competitive pay, and paid time off.Community: award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace.#J-18808-Ljbffr
