Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), employees contribute 4.5% of earnings with the County contributing 6.77%. Shift differential pay of .20 cents for 2nd and 3rd shifts. $200 fitness reimbursement per year. Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance and wellness program.RequirementsMust have a bachelor's degree or have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours at an accredited university, college, or community college, with the expectation of obtaining a bachelor's degree within five (5) years of employment. $2000 Tuition Reimbursement assistance provided once complete. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and be a resident of Illinois within a 40-mile radius of the Adams County courthouse if not a resident of Illinois. Will be required to meet all other general qualifications for non-supervisory personnel established by the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts (AOIC), including submission of the Probation/Court Services Employment Application and certification of eligibility by the AOIC.Essential FunctionsDetention Officers provide daily supervision, security and care through facilitating behavioral programming for youths aged 17 and younger in a secure detention facility.
