We are seeking an experienced Test and Evaluation (T&E) Lead to support Department of War (DoW) programs focused on munitions and weapons systems development. As a defense contractor role, this position leads the planning, execution, and analysis of test programs, guiding cross-functional teams through the full T&E lifecycle to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements in compliance with DoW and DoD standards. Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the development and execution of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test plans, and detailed test procedures in support of the government customer
-Coordinate developmental and operational test activities across government, contractor, and range personnel
-Oversee data collection, reduction, and analysis; produce test reports and briefings for program stakeholders and the government program office
-Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout testing
-Manage test schedules, resources, and risk mitigation activities in coordination with the prime contract
-Interface with program management, engineering, and government customer representatives to align T&E objectives with program milestones
-Support systems engineering activities including requirements verification and validation Required Qualifications:
-Active TS/SCI Security Clearance -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline
-5+ years of test and evaluation experience supporting DoW/DoD munitions, ordnance, or weapons systems programs
-Demonstrated experience leading test teams and managing complex test events
-Working knowledge of defense acquisition processes and T&E policy (DoD 5000 series)
-Prior experience in a defense contracting environment supporting a government customer
-Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Desired Qualifications:
-Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test range operations
-Familiarity with reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis
-DAWIA certification in Test and Evaluation or equivalent
-Prior experience interfacing with government test organizations and ranges
