The TEMPEST Security Specialist assists the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) in formally affirming that government and customer‑sponsor contractor facilities where Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) is electronically processed meet security requirements of applicable TEMPEST policies efficiently and cost effectively. The specialist product TSS deliverables, reviews TEMPEST testing, worksheets, Red and Black Installation/Separation and Protective Distribution System (PDS) packages to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and creates Site Survey Reports and SOCOMM messages for customer approval and release. The specialist records documents and task closure in the customer database, conducts ad‑hoc testing using government inventory, and produces ad‑hoc TEMPEST reports with descriptions of any anomalies, concerns, or discoveries.Responsibilities Produce TSS deliverables and review TEMPEST testing, worksheets, and PDS packages for compliance.Create Site Survey Reports and SOCOMM messages for customer approval.Record documents and task closures in the customer database.Conduct ad‑hoc testing using government inventory and produce TDS reports.Required Knowledge and Experience Wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices in TEMPEST and TSCM analysis techniques.Interpreting complex facility architectural and infrastructure plans/drawings.Probability, statistics, information theory, and ability to implement processes using computer programs.Information and communication theory.Signal propagation and antenna theory.Structural parameters and grounding techniques using test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE).Computing principles and internal functionality.Computer database management and working knowledge of programs (Microsoft Office, LabVIEW, Visio, AutoCAD Lite, Adobe Acrobat).Physical security countermeasures and PDS construction materials and methods.Physical intrusion detection system technology.Interpreting complex signal component wiring diagrams.Qualifications Education: BA/BS or 10+ years of experience.Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience.Technical Skills: Completion of TEMPEST Fundamentals Course and TEMPEST for System Installation and Design Course.Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph.Preferred Skill: Graduation from the TSCM Fundamentals course at the Interagency Training Center.Location: Customer site.Team/Task Lead capability (not a people manager).Benefits 401(k) with company match.Comprehensive health and wellness packages.Dedicated internal mobility team.Paid educational and certification opportunities.Access to cutting‑edge technology.Paid vacation and holidays.#J-18808-Ljbffr
