Our business model focuses on integrity, loyalty, and trust.Position OverviewProvide support to The United States Coast Guard (USCG), CG-AIR's (to include the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG-AIR-E)).Essential Job FunctionAssess equipment maintenance and logistics support requirements for USCG aircraftSubmit Supply Item Change Requests (SICR)Prepare and provide documentation to support procurement actionsReview and analyze data to determine item interchangeability or substitution optionsEvaluate logistical support plans for feasibility, efficiency, and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with engineering staff on special inventory requirementsAnalyze forecasting model outputsWork with Engineering and Procurement teams on supply-related issues (sources, databases, unit costs, stock quantities)Use AMMIS and ALMIS to generate requirements documents, create Unsatisfactory Reports, and monitor aviation inventoryMinimum QualificationsU.S. CitizenRead, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of basic arithmeticKnowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlinesAbility to work with minimal Government oversightHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 5 years' experience in supply/logisticsAt least 5 years' experience managing registration coding, inventory consolidation, long lead-time items, items with multiple supply sources, and proprietary data issuesAt least 5 years' aviation inventory management experience beyond Supply Technician level (e.g., Material Coordinator, Inventory Manager)Knowledge of USCG or DoW aircraft logistics support practices and proceduresDesired Qualifications1 year experience in USCG proceduresProficiency in ALMISProficiency in AMMISTarget Salary Range & BenefitsTarget Salary Range: Market comparative at time of award.Medical, dental, and vision coverageLife insuranceShort term/long term disability coverageRetirement savings - 401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Holiday leaveAlternate work schedules (depending on work site)Flexible spending account optionsWhether you're an experienced professional, a veteran, a former military or civilian federal employee, or a recent graduate, STI-TEC has a career opportunity for you.
