Executive Protection Security Officer
The Executive Protection Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and discreet environment for all Nemacolin guests, associates, and property assets. This role combines high-level hospitality awareness with professional protective services. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional judgment, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security situations while preserving the luxury guest experience.
PA Act 235 and prior military or law enforcement background are required. The associate in this position is also expected to provide a high level of security presence resort wide, with protective service offered to VIPs, resort ownership, and resort executive team.
Essential functions include responding to and acting immediately on emergency incidents that occur resort wide, providing protective service to VIPs, ownership, resort executive team, as well as all guests and associates on property, maintaining a safe, secure, and discreet environment to protect Nemacolin guests, associates, and property assets, conducting company related investigations and surveillance, advising on course of action for all areas of concern, maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding current security laws and policies, monitoring assigned areas and principals, patrolling the building at all times and providing high profile security presence, and other job duties assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include a high school diploma or equivalent, PA Act 235 certification, military or law enforcement background, completion and passing of a hospitality security officer certification program within 60 days, passing a physical fitness evaluation, ability to work various shifts, including flex shift/float position, excellent leadership skills, ability to work independently without direct supervision, ability to speak and write English, and maintaining a current, valid driver's license.
