Prosegur Security is looking for Unarmed Security Officers in the Miami FL area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world consisting of over 160,000 employees in over 30 countries. Shifts include: Mornings-Afternoons

Thurs-Sat 0900am-0900pm

Hourly starting wage: $18.00/HR

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid Security Guard License
• Must have one (2) year of experience as a security officer
• Must have one (2) year of experience in Customer Service
• Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good communication skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior

Certification Requirements

• Unarmed Security License
• D- License
