Crossing Guard

Assist JMCSS students with crossing traffic intersections and to direct traffic at assigned post before and after school hours when children are entering and leaving school.

High School Diploma/GED FBI/TBI Fingerprint/Background Clearance every five (5) years Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent might find appropriate and acceptable

Stops traffic at crosswalks near school for the safety of school children. Controls vehicular or pedestrian traffic at street crossings. Assists children crossing the street going to and returning from school. Instructs younger children in the precautions to be taken when crossing the street Acts quickly in emergencies.
