Facilities Mobile Security 3
The Facilities Mobile Security Associate 3 is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment for their assigned shift. The Facilities Mobile Security Associate 3 will work directly under the assigned Facilities Security Supervisor to report any potential security threats by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings. In addition, the rover will assist in all other areas when directed by the Facilities Security Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Patrol / inspect premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
- Secure all exits and bay doors, cover bay doors as needed by operations
- Assist in the screening room / operating metal detectors, utilizing handheld wand
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
- Respond to all emergencies
- Submit daily reports
- Enforce the Prohibited Items List and all company policies
Additional Responsibilities:
- As assigned by the manager
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of security protocols
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to follow safety standards
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly and positive demeanor
- Excellent communication skills via phone, radio, email, and messaging applications with all levels of personnel
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
- Registered as security officer (SORA) - Not necessary but can be provided through company
- Experience in a similar Security role (3 years)
Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:
Warehouse Environment
Required Schedule:
Sunday 9am-6pm & Monday - Thursday 4pm - 12am
