Incident Response/Threat Hunt Openings: -x1 SME
-x2 Level 3 -x2 Level
Long-term with Insight Global
Location: based out of Arlington, VA (1-2 days per week onsite)
Rate: $62.50 – 96.15/hour
Responsibilities: · Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in threat hunting and incident response, leveraging knowledge of threat actor tools and techniques. · Provide expert guidance to incident response teams and help assess breach severity. · Produce executive summaries and detailed technical reports from analytical findings. · Develop innovative solutions for complex cyber incidents and recommend targeted mitigations. · Collaborate with internal teams on containment, eradication, and documentation of processes.
Required Qualifications: · Active TS/SCI clearance. · Ability to obtain DHS Suitability. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field · Or High School diploma with 7+ years of directly relevant experience. · 7+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in evaluating cyber response capabilities. · Strong understanding of network security and experience in incident response. · Proficiency with common operating systems (e.g., Linux/Unix, Windows).
Desired Qualifications: · Experience in leading technical teams and knowledge of Computer Network Defense policies. · Familiarity with various operational threat environments and security vulnerabilities. · Skills in network/system administration and intrusion detection.
Desired Certifications (any of the following): · CSSP Analyst · GCIA, GCIH · CSSP Analyst/CSSP Incident Responder · CEH · GIAC GNFA · GICSP · GCIP _____________________________________________________________________________________
*Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
