OverviewImmediate opening for a Full-time or Part-time Loss Prevention Officer in Altoona, IA.ResponsibilitiesIdentify shoplifters through floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TVReport writingInteract with local law enforcement agencies as neededProvide courtroom testimony as requiredQualificationsAbility to read, write and speak English proficientlyLocation, Schedule and CompensationLocation: Altoona, IAFull-time / 30-40 hours per weekPart-Time / 20-29 hours per weekPay: $22.00 per hourBenefitsHealth Insurance / 401k available to full-time employeesPaid Time OffJob RequirementsPre-Employment criminal background and drug screenAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate and easily understood reportsMust be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontationMust be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts.
