Transdev in Meadowlands, PA is accepting applications for a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.Employment DetailsPosition subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.Starting payrate $19.50 per hour.BenefitsMedical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees; life insurance; 401(k) retirement benefits; company holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring routes begin on time, and monitoring performance, incidents, etc.Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.Other duties as required.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.3-5 years of experience dispatching.Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.Problem solving and analytical skills.Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.Physical Requirements / Work ScheduleMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.Employee generally spends long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.Work environment will be a combination of indoors and outdoors.Drug-free workplaceEligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.Transdev is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
