Overview Summary/ ObjectiveThe position of Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for the dispatch process. This position will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.Responsibilities Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work with Dispatch Supervisor on hiring needs on a project-by-project basis.Work with Hiring department to ensure smooth onboarding process of new employees.Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate searches.Build networks to find qualified candidates.Post job openings in newspaper/ online advertisements, with professional organizations and in other appropriate venues.Conduct regular follow-up with managers/operations to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.Enter data as necessary into dispatch database in order to maintain active and inactive job listings.Process new hire paperwork in the appropriate dispatch database ensuring accuracy of the data.Administrative and recordkeeping duties as required.Verify and set up personnel to comply with client required drug and alcohol consortium.Add and remove personnel to LACC / DISA drug and alcohol roster and schedule personnel for random drug and alcohol testing.Other administrative jobs as necessary to ensure a smooth workflow withing the department and with other departments within the Company.Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions.Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company.Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background checks as required.Perform other related duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position will have no supervisory responsibilities.Other DutiesDuties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice that is job-related and consistent with business necessity.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Position Type/ Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
