Location: On-site, multiple locations across the 7-county metro area, job includes performing work both inside and outsideTravel: Reliable transportation requiredSample Tasks Install or replace physical network switches and ports in Transit and Council system infrastructure throughout the organizationSupport System Engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issuesSupport and communicate about workspace standard power systems and wireless connectivity issues with the network teamDocument work performed using pictures, notes, and shared spreadsheetsEnsure equipment installation is in proper location of Council and Council connected infrastructureEnsure basic installation steps are performedCommunicate set-up issues and concerns with System Engineers and the network teamIdentify appropriate hardware equipment to be transported and delivered for the required jobSafely load and secure hardware equipment in Council vehiclesDocument appropriate hardware equipment delivered to System EngineerDiscuss planned hardware transportation, installation, schedule, and connection with the Systems EngineerAssist the Systems Engineer in layout of new infrastructure equipmentCommunicate planned work completion or issuesProvide knowledge transfer to other Network Team members as requiredDesired Skills High school diploma/GED AND four or more years of relevant work experience; or an Associate or higher degree OR two-year college/technical school certification AND two or more years of relevant work experienceCisco certificationAzure certificationExperience working with General low voltage power, multi-media connectivity, and SolarWindsExperience reading blueprints and floor plansExperience promoting an equitable, positive, and respectful work environment that values culture and diversity among all employees#J-18808-Ljbffr
