Position Description & QualificationsSerco seeks Command and Control (C2) Operations SME (former Air Battle Manager [ABM], Weapons Director [WD] or Air Intercept Controller [AIC]) for Air Combat Command's Combat Air Forces Distributed Training Center (CAF DTC) at Langley AFB, VA. The CAF DTC provides world‑class integration training in large force and small team formats to combat units around the globe against cutting‑edge threats in a boundless virtual battlespace.An active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR is required.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing the DTC's Large Force Exercises (LFEs) and Small Team events.Attend CAF exercise planning conferences (e.g. RED FLAG), meetings, and sites to discuss unit training requirements and help incorporate those requirements into missions.Provide consulting expertise to military and/or defense clients to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine, including specialized planning and execution in doctrinal development, scenario development, after‑action review, and data analysis.Required QualificationsActive Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in command and control.or Master's degree with 7 years of experience.or PhD with 4 years of experience.Former Air Battle Manager (ABM), Air Intercept Controller (AIC) or Weapons Director (WD) with any of the following: E‑3 (AWACS), E‑2, CRC, TAOC, or BMCS.Thorough knowledge of applicable AFTTP 3‑1 employment or other service‑equivalent manual.Thorough knowledge of ALSSA Brevity and ALSSA Air Control Communication.Operationally relevant experience within the past 10 years (simulator experience considered).Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time.Additional Desired Experience & SkillsPossession of an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.Graduate of USAF Weapons School (WIC), TOPGUN, Marine Aviation Weapons & Tactics Squadron (MAWTS), Carrier Airborne Early Warning Weapons School (CAEWWS), or Advanced Weapons Director Course (AWD).Mission Commander qualified.Instructor experience.Thorough knowledge of 5th‑gen fighter employment and/or integration.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Robust vacation and sick leave benefits and flexible work arrangements where permitted.401(k) plan with employer matching funds.Tuition reimbursement program.Life insurance and disability coverage.Optional coverages such as pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protection.Birth, adoption, and parental leave benefits.Employee Assistance Plan.Equal Opportunity EmployerSerco is an equal‑opportunity employer.
