DescriptionEagle Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intermodal Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate the daily movement of containers between rail yards, ports, customer facilities, and distribution centers. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with drivers and customers, and ensure efficient utilization of equipment while maintaining exceptional service levels.Eagle Systems utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve visibility and create efficiencies to meet and exceed our client's expectations and provide our drivers with tools that make them successful. Eagle Systems is employee-focused and understands that each of our dispatch team members are critical and invaluable to our success.Key ResponsibilitiesDispatch and monitor intermodal drivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of containers.Coordinate freight movements between rail terminals, ports, warehouses, and customer locations.Communicate daily with drivers regarding load assignments, route changes, delays, and operational updates.Track container status, appointments, chassis availability, and equipment utilization.Monitor driver hours-of-service (HOS) compliance and safety requirements.Resolve service issues, delays, and unexpected operational challenges.Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation management systems (TMS).Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, scheduling, and service concerns.Coordinate with railroads, steamship lines, brokers, and terminal personnel.Review and optimize routes to maximize productivity and minimize empty miles.Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and customer requirements.RequirementsQualificationsKnowledge of Ports and RailroadsKnowledge of FMCSA Regulations, safety rules and DOT preventable truck maintenanceExperience working with owner operator driversExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCapable of working independently as well as in a team environmentKnowledge of logs related to commercial/intermodal carriersComputer skills-must be confident utilizing the Google suite of products (docs, sheets, Gmail, etc) and Microsoft ExcelBilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not requiredCompensationEmployer paid medical/dental/visionPaid vacation, sick and holiday401k with company matchEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Salaried position based on experienceEqual opportunity employer, including protected veterans and people with disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
