Functional Analyst with Security Clearance

Functional Analyst Location: Washington, D.C. area (hybrid) Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a motivated Functional Analyst to support a federal client in delivering software product solutions within a secure environment. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to support the successful implementation of enterprise software solutions. You'll analyze business requirements, support testing efforts, and help design technology solutions that improve business processes while ensuring applications meet functional and operational needs. What You'll Do As a Functional Analyst, you will: * Interface with team members and users to understand business and functional requirements * Gather, document, and validate requirements to support solution design and delivery * Apply industry best practices and software knowledge to design solutions that align with business processes and functional requirements * Support the technical implementation of software product delivery * Develop and execute functional test plans and test scripts * Support application testing, defect tracking, validation, and issue resolution activities throughout the software delivery lifecycle * Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed client requirements * Maintain documentation related to requirements, testing, and system functionality Schedule & Shift Details * Full-time (40 hours/week) * Hybrid work environment * Must be local to the Washington, D.C. area Requirements * U.S. Citizenship required * Active Secret Clearance required * Minimum of 0-2 years experience with functional test planning * Minimum of 0-2 years experience supporting ServiceNow applications, workflows, or platform functionality * Experience gathering and documenting requirements * Experience testing applications and writing test scripts * Ability to translate business requirements into functional solution recommendations * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to collaborate with users, technical teams, and functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments * Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalog items, or platform functionality * Experience supporting software implementation, configuration, or modernization projects * Experience working in Agile Scrum or iterative software delivery environments * Experience creating functional specifications, requirements documentation, test scripts, or user guides Why Join Blue Rose? * Support mission-critical federal software modernization and digital transformation initiatives * Gain hands-on experience in requirements analysis, functional testing, and enterprise solution delivery * Collaborate with experienced business, technical, and functional teams in a secure environment * Build expertise in ServiceNow, software implementation, and federal technology delivery Apply Today Email: Website: www.bluerose-consulting.com/careers LinkedIn:
