We are seeking an experienced Kardex Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive expertise in Kardex Power Pick Systems, warehouse automation, and automated storage and retrieval technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Kardex solutions within an R&D laboratory or manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical and functional knowledge of Kardex systems, system integrations, automation workflows, and operational support to ensure high system availability and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, support, and optimize Kardex Power Pick System (PPS) operations in an R&D laboratory environment.Perform system configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade activities for Kardex solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pick and put-away workflows, inventory accuracy, and system performance.Investigate and resolve system integration issues involving ERP, WMS, and related enterprise systems.Collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to support integration and automation initiatives.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability with minimal operational downtime.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.Support data mapping activities, barcode systems, and warehouse automation workflows.Maintain and update system documentation, including SOPs, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and user guides.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards within laboratory and manufacturing environments.Provide technical guidance and support for automation-related initiatives and process improvements.Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades.Support ongoing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications13+ years of professional experience in warehouse automation, industrial systems, or related technology environments.Hands‑on experience with Kardex Power Pick System (PPS).Strong knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).Experience with warehouse and logistics automation technologies.Experience integrating Kardex or automation platforms with ERP and WMS systems.Strong understanding of system integration concepts and enterprise application connectivity.Ability to troubleshoot both technical and functional issues within automated warehouse environments.Experience supporting R&D, laboratory, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or similar regulated environments.Experience with inventory management processes and automated material handling systems.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Kardex Shuttle systems.Experience with Vertical Lift Modules (VLM).Familiarity with automation technologies, PLC fundamentals, and industrial IT systems.Prior experience providing onsite support for global clients or enterprise environments.Experience supporting barcode technologies and automated inventory solutions.Knowledge of operational excellence, process optimization, and warehouse best practices.Experience working in highly regulated environments such as pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.#J-18808-Ljbffr
