Purpose The Gate Attendant for the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) sells tickets for entry and directs guests during Spring Training and tournaments.Responsibilities Sell tickets at the front gate.Direct guests to parking locations and fields.Accurately balance gate bank prior to starting the gate shift and reconcile at the end of each shift.Verify all ticket envelopes have the correct number of tickets.Answer questions and resolve issues for guests; provide superior guest service.Effectively communicate to VIP's and special guests.Other duties as assigned by Coordinator, Guest Services.Qualifications and Skills The preferred candidate will have previous cash handling experience.Excellent verbal communication skills.High level of attention to detail.Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to work outside in weather extremes for extended periods of time.Why MLB?
