Electronic Security Technician (Entry Level)

Our teams combine deep technical expertise with mission understanding to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that advance performance in high-stakes environments.Evolver is seeking an Electronic Security Technician (Entry Level) who will assist with security system installations, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and demolition tasks. Security systems include access control systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV and other electronic and physical security systems.ResponsibilitiesThe ability to learn to work on small and medium projects with some supervision at security installations.Knowledge and safe use of hand tools and various power tools.Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.Install various types of low-voltage cable and cable tray.Maintain a clean work area and participate in job site cleanup.Follow a plan for sequence of work while working with other techs and helpers.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.Basic QualificationsUp to 95% travel which may be for extended periods.High School diploma or GED required.Must have an excellent safety record, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record in order to meet corporate eligibility requirements to drive a company-owned vehicle as necessary.Must be able to pass and maintain a USG security clearance/background check.Demonstrated experience and ability to read and understand plans and specifications.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, work at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.Preferred Qualifications1 year of hands-on work, schooling or military experience in the Electronic Security (ESS) or access control industry.Electronics certification from an accredited technical school or equivalent military training.Strong communications, time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Consistently report to work on time, work well with others to accomplish a common goal and maintain a safe work environment.Evolver is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all job seekers.
