UAT Lead Sme

Location: 1305 E Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50319 (HYBRID)

Interview: Either Phone (or) In-Person

The UAT Lead will perform a lead role of a team of QA resources - reporting to a Program or Project Manager.

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating all UAT related tasks including planning, prioritization and execution of all these tasks. The Technical Specialist will also work with the Systems Integrator. This individual at times will work with business SMEs in resolving and mitigating issues.

Iowa Department of Human Services is looking to replace a legacy application and has a need to interface existing mainframe systems with a new server based eligibility system. The Technical Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating all UAT related tasks including planning, prioritization and execution of all these tasks. Besides working with the core project team, the Technical Specialist will also work with the Systems Integrator.

The TS3 will be able to:

  • Demonstrate ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills. 10+years
  • Demonstrate ability of self-motivation, self-direction, and able to work with little or no supervision. 10+years
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. 10+years
  • Accurately prepare written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.

Required:

10 Years

Demonstrate ability of self-motivation, self-direction, and able to work with little or no supervision

10 Years

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

10 Years

Accurately prepare written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.

7 Years

Experience supervising the entire interface team & all interface testing

7 Years

Experience managing a large testing initiative in a mainframe, COBOL, JCL, VSAM and Web based environment.

7 Years

Experience in developing QA test plan, test scenarios and test cases

7 Years

Experience testing complex interfaces

7 Years

Experience in overseeing the execution of QA testing activities.
