The Technician is expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals and to maintain a clean, well‑organized vehicle and a safe environment.Job ResponsibilitiesManage time to complete the maximum number of service calls while maintaining a high level of qualityAchieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the managerLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain the applicable local and/or state Fire Equipment Certificate of CompetencyProtect and maintain company equipmentWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures, including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag‑out policiesMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organizedJob RequirementsPrior experience in Fire Suppression is a strong plus but not required.Knowledge of applicable inspection and servicing codes is a plus but not required.Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety proceduresValid driver's license with a current and sustainable good driving recordSatisfactory results in a company‑mandated criminal background check and drug testA strong work ethic and professional appearanceAbility to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferredPreferred Qualifications but not requiredExperience in the fire protection industry or in the commercial customer service business in some capacity is a plus but not required.An electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work is a plus.Successful completion of a drug test and pre‑employment background screening is required.
