Armed Security Officer - Flex

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Armed Security Officer to protect our clients' assets, ensure the safety of personnel, and maintain a secure environment. This role requires a strong sense of vigilance, a high level of responsibility, and adherence to all security protocols and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement, military police, or corrections and must be capable of handling a firearm responsibly.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, identifying potential security breaches or hazardsDeter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents promptly and professionallyControl access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized accessProvide emergency response, including de-escalation, arrest control, and restraining individuals as necessaryMaintain clear and concise incident reports and documentation for all security-related incidentsEngage with individuals in a courteous and professional manner to enforce rules and regulationsCoordinate with local law enforcement when requiredQualifications and Requirements:Experience: Background in Military Police, law enforcement, or certified corrections is requiredFirearms: Must have own firearm and a valid license to carry; an armed guard license is required in applicable statesTraining: Certified in arrest control, handcuff, and baton useScreenings: Must pass random drug testing and a psychological evaluation (MMPI exam)Physical Fitness: Capable of performing physical duties such as patrolling, responding to incidents, and managing potentially intense confrontationsCompliance: Understanding of and commitment to all local, state, and federal security and firearm regulationsSchedule Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred Qualifications:Must have obtained Top Security Clearance in the past 5 yearsMust have obtained a Security Clearance in the past 5 yearsPreferred Skills:Strong observational skills with a keen attention to detailExcellent communication and de-escalation abilitiesHigh level of professionalism and discretionPrior training or certification in security management, conflict resolution, or emergency responsePhysical Requirements:Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routesWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrolsProsegurisanEqualOpportunityEmployer.Wecelebratediversityandarecommittedtocreatinginanclusiveenvironmentforallemployees.Allqualifiedapplicantswillreceiveconsiderationforemploymentwithoutregardtorace,color,religion,sex,sexualorientation,genderidentityorexpression,nationalorigin,age,disability,veteranstatus,oranyothercharacteristicprotectedbyapplicablelaw.#J-18808-Ljbffr
